keyboards & vocals
Raised in a log cabin, Jeff learned to play the spoons and various other utensils at a very young age. Soon after his near fatal skull fracture, for whatever reason, he joined the band Ten Story.
In the early eighties Ten Story played all over St. Louis at some of the best clubs in town. Then, their bass player got pneumonia and died. Well, he didn’t die but it sure killed Ten Story.
After a brief engagement to Heather Locklear, Jeff decided college would be a good place to pass the time. He got a French Horn scholarship from Southeast Missouri State.
“Lips of gold baby”
While at South East, Jeff ran into a couple of other guys who apparently were also just passing the time. They had nothing better to do, so they decided to form a band named after a Van Halen album (go figure).
Jeff came home from school and played at Bogart’s South every weekend for about 20 years with a band called the Adapters. (Ten Story, without the sick bass player).
Jeff has played professionally since 1975. He has enjoyed limited success due to his mental condition, but things are improving.
See it to believe it.
