Originally a piano player, Kerry comes from a long list of local bands, most notably; Sinister and Redeleven. “When I heard Neil Peart on 2112, my desire to play the drums was overwhelming” he says. So at 17, after years of being shot at, the piano took a back seat, and he bought his first drum set. (As well as his bud’s stereo speakers and 2112 album!!) Neil continues to be a main source of his influence, along side Dave Weckl.
Recently, equally as inspired by Geddy Lee, Kerry bought a bass guitar. He has been “getting more intimate” with the other half of the rhythm section. (The Bass Guitar, not Scott) You may even have the miss-fortune to catch him on stage playing a song or two!
Kerry and Rad met thru the internet and formed the short lived band Vertigo, in the fall of 2000. After that, Rad began playing with Fair Warning again. When Duck left the band in 2002, Rad called Kerry. The rest is, as you say, history.
